What is it?

CTP (Cloud Trading Platform) is Bespin's unique FinOps service offering designed to help you get more savings on AWS on-demand workloads without the risk of committing. 


On behalf of you, we will:

  • Analyze your AWS spending
  • Determine exactly how much RI and SP to purchase
  • Purchase RI/SPs
  • Manage RI/SPs
  • Optimize further as your spending pattern changes


Your benefits will include:

  • Having Bespin's FinOps experts to do all the heavy lifting for your AWS RI/SP optimization
  • Completely removing the risk of committing to 1~3 years. As part of the offering, we take the full risk of the commitment so that you don't have to make any RI/SP long-term commitments. This means that any commitment is on Bespin as your cloud partner, not you. You will have no risk from decreased spending or completely walking away.
  • Still benefiting from RI/SP discounts.



Which AWS services are covered?

Currently, we cover on-demand EC2, Lambda, and Fargate.



How does it work?

In order to be eligible for CTP, there are 2 prerequisites.

  1. Your AWS accounts need to be resold by Bespin
  2. Your AWS accounts need to be added to OpsNow


When the prerequisites above are satisfied, Bespin will:

  1. Bespin's FinOps experts will analyze your past 30-day spending to come up with an AWS RI/SP purchase plan that is tailored to your spending pattern.
  2. If needed, we will work with you to gather more information such as your 6-month business growth plan
  3. The FinOps team will purchase and manage RI/SPs for you.
  4. The FinOps team will revisit and analyze your spending regularly to see if there's any more room for optimization.
  5. We will pass on most of the savings back to you via our invoice to you.



Is there a service fee?

This is a fully transparent offering. There is no service fee, but we take 20% of the monthly savings that we achieved (vs. on-demand) as risk and management fee. If we are unable to achieve any savings for you, then we don't charge anything.
